Placing an Order on the Kingdom Website

Personal information we receive and process when you place an order on our website:

  • Your name
  • Your billing and delivery address
  • Your telephone number

It is essential we receive this information to sufficiently fulfil your order and enhance the services we provide to you. This information is used to populate delivery requirements by our appointed couriers and is handled with total confidentiality.

Secure third-party payment methods involving your personal Information:

  • Paypal (www.paypal.com)

These platforms are integrated into the Kingdom website in order to handle transactions securely. The details you provide are fed into the Kingdom order database. Your order is then processed by Channel Grabber (www.channelgrabber.com) software.

Your order details are also required to generate a postage label in order to ship your order. We use the following couriers:

  • Royal Mail (www.royalmail.com)
  • Parcelforce (www.parcelforce.com)
  • UPS (www.ups.com)

It is necessary to hold your order information for a nominal period of time in order to provide you with tracking information or in the event that a claim may need to be raised against a courier. It is also useful to keep a record for warranty purposes and to verify an order.

You can request removal of personal information from our database and records at any point. The removal will be handled within 30 working days (usually a lot faster). We will also make contact with any third-parties mentioned above in order to remove your personal information from their records.

Paper records:

We print an order manifest at the end of each working day in order for the courier to sign and confirm that your order has been physically collected from our premises. The paper manifest includes your name and delivery address. It is our standard procedure for paper manifests to be shredded and securely disposed of after 12 months. By request, we can destroy this record earlier if necessary.

Contact Form and Online Chat

When you submit an enquiry either via the ‘contact us’ form or ‘chat window’ on the Kingdom website, you agree to provide us with your name, email address and telephone number. This information provided is treated as confidential and not shared with any third parties. It merely serves as the information we need to respond to your enquiry sufficiently.

You can request removal of personal information from our database and records at any point. In accordance with GDPR regulations, the removal will be handled within 30 working days (usually a lot faster). Please email our Data Protection Officer at info@kingdomguitars.com with your request or any enquiries you may have related to data protection.
